Usually people who chose this type of boat are familiar with the equipments, have experience in sailing, and certificate of competency to command a yacht  respectively .

Looking for an on-board vacation means acceptance that your holiday will be so intensive and active. 

But these all are nothing in comparison to the incredible sense of liberty and forces of nature you may experience on a yacht!

Cruising sailboats always consists of comfy cabins, kitchens and fully equipped WC. It is easy for them to make relatively long and far destinations.  

If you do not have any certificate of competence and are not intended to obtain one, but you are eager to try out such a type of vessel, you may charter the sailboat with the skipper and other crew on purpose.
